29 Year old Phillip Brunelle from Fall River, MASS decided he should buy one more lottery ticket after winning a $1000.00 scratch off prize earlier in the day, this past Sunday. Using his lucky penny on the Billion Dollar Bonana ($20.00) ticket he purchased, Phil revealed a $1 million dollar prize to shocked onlookers.
Brunelle, a photographer, plans to open up a studio and help his mother with his cash prizes.

Alec Ahsak was seriously injured after being beat down in the street outside the 5th Avenue Mall on Tuesday. He was attacked by a man with a metal pipe. The attacker, accompanied by two women, reported struck Ashak 8-10 times before Ashak ran away.

The winner of the $500,000 state-wide Alaska lottery held to benefit sexual abuse victims is a convicted child molestor. Alec Ahsoak claimed his half million dollar prize on Saturday. He has been convicted of molesting at least 3 girls under the age of 13 over the past 20 years.
His victims have been quoted in the media as being “outraged”.
As new rules and game features in the Powerball Lottery are being implemented this week, one state is already having upgrade issues. Idaho Lottery Officials have announced that a number of error tickets were printed after they performed the necessary upgrades on their own system:
“During the upgrade of Idaho’s Powerball game, operator error resulted in a small number of Powerball tickets being printed in error during a short period of time,” said Zeke Chemodurow, Idaho General Manager for Intralot, Inc., the Idaho Lottery’s lotto-systems provider. “The ticket information and the locations where they were printed at have been identified and that information has been provided to the lottery.”
Now the question is, did any other states make errors as a result of the upgrade?
CA Lottery Officials have announced that someone that bought a Mega Millions Lottery ticket at a Pacific Beach 7-Eleven store beat the 1 in 175,000,000 odds and has won the $45 million jackpot. No Winners have stepped forward. Double check your tickets.
