$128 Million Powerball Winner From Kentucky

The hunt for the largest Powerball Jackpot winner in Kentucky’s history is over. KY Lottery officials said that late in the week an attorney hired by the winner had contacted them to schedule the cash handoff. The winners name was not released.
The ticket is yet to be validated. Lottery officials said the ticket was sold at ProTravel Marathon in Georgetown, consistent with the anonymous winner’s story.
Prior to this jackpot, the largest Powerball Jackpot ever won in Kentucky was $89.3 million, almost 15 years ago.
